WWF Wrestlemania

Game History
WWF WrestleMania is a professional wrestling arcade game developed and released by Midway Manufacturing Co. in 1995. The game was based on the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) promotion and was loosely inspired by WrestleMania X.
The game was created by the same team behind Midway's successful Mortal Kombat and NBA Jam series, with programmer Mark Turmell reportedly working "16 hours a day, seven days a week for six months" to complete the project. It featured digitized representations of eight WWF performers—Bam Bam Bigelow, Bret Hart, Doink the Clown, Lex Luger, Razor Ramon, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, and Yokozuna—pitted against each other in fast-paced matches.
WWF WrestleMania was commercially successful, becoming the third most-popular arcade game at the time of its release according to RePlay magazine. The game received positive reviews from critics, with GamePro praising its "unmatched" level of detail in the digitized characters, wacky sense of humor, and accessible controls, calling it "one of the most addictive arcade games to date."
