Super Monkey Ball: Ticket Blitz is a 2011 arcade redemption machine developed by Sega Amusements. It adapts the popular Super Monkey Ball franchise specifically for the ticket redemption market, shifting the focus from achieving high scores to winning as many tickets as possible. However as we don't do redemption games the objective is achieving a high score.

The game retains the core mechanic of guiding a monkey in a ball through obstacle courses using a large trackball controller. It features graphics and obstacles similar to Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll. A key feature is the forgiving gameplay where players can fall out of bounds repeatedly without penalty until the timer runs out. Upon completing a stage, players enter a Ticket Blitz Bonus Stage where they can win a jackpot and earn extra tickets.

How to Play

Objective

The main goal of Super Monkey Ball: Ticket Blitz is to guide your monkey through obstacle courses and reach the goal within the time limit to win tickets. The more bananas you collect and the faster you complete levels, the more tickets you earn. The ultimate objective is to reach the Ticket Blitz Bonus Stage where you can win the jackpot and earn additional tickets.

Controls

• Trackball: The primary control is a large trackball that you roll with your hand to control the game world's tilt, which in turn moves the monkey ball
• Rolling Forward: Push the trackball away from you to tilt the world forward and move the ball in that direction
• Rolling Backward: Pull the trackball toward you to tilt the world backward and move the ball in that direction
• Rolling Left/Right: Roll the trackball left or right to tilt the world and move the ball accordingly
• Start Button: Located on the arcade cabinet, used to start the game

Gameplay

• Starting the Game: Press the Start Button to begin your game.

• Course Navigation: Use the trackball to tilt the game world and guide your monkey ball through each obstacle course. The ball's movement is governed by physics, responding to the tilt of the world.

• Collecting Bananas: Throughout each course, collect bananas to increase your ticket value. The more bananas you collect, the more tickets you'll earn upon completing the level.

• Reaching the Goal: Navigate to the designated goal area at the end of each course before time runs out to progress to the next level.

• Falling Out of Bounds: Unlike other versions of Super Monkey Ball, you can fall out of bounds repeatedly without penalty. The game only ends when the timer reaches zero.

• Ticket Blitz Bonus Stage: When you reach the goal of a level, you gain access to the Ticket Blitz Bonus Stage where you can attempt to roll into a glowing ring using boost arrows to win the jackpot and earn additional tickets.

• Game Over: The game ends when the timer reaches zero. Your tickets are dispensed based on your performance, including bananas collected and bonus stage achievements.
